Origin of the "alis" name
ALIS was an acronym that stood for Alberta Learning Information Service. However, as the scope of alis expanded beyond education information, we’ve outgrown the acronym.
We now use "alis" (all lowercase) as our brand name, pronounced like the name, “Alice.”
You can set up an account in order to save information to your career plan, education plan, and job search. As well, add articles, videos, or occupations that you like to your favourites.
