Admission Requirements
Students must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident in Canada and must meet Academic and English Language Proficiency requirements. Academic Requirements - Standard Admission (Must meet ALL of the following): 1. Canadian High School Diploma or equivalent, with one Grade 12 Science and a 60% final mark in Grade 12 English, verified by transcript 2. Successful interview with school administration. Academic Requirements - Mature Admission (Must meet ALL of the following): 1. 18 years of age or older at program start date (19 years for out of province) 2. Passing score on one of: CAST level 3 (7/15 in each section tested), Wonderlic BST (Verbal min 303-321) or Accuplacer (Reading 226, Writing 230) tests. 3. Successful interview with school administration. English Language Proficiency - IELTS Academic: 5.5 (no section score below 5.0). - TOEFL iBT 60. - CELPIP General: 6 (no section score below 6). - Duolingo English Test (min score of 93). - Completion of one year of post-secondary training where the language of instruction is English. - Completion of three years secondary education where the language of instruction is English. International credentials must be verified by International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or World Education Services (WES) evaluation. Clinic Requirements (Must be completed prior to clinical start date): - Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector check. - Verification of Hepatitis B and Rubella Immunizations. (Measles, Mumps, COVID, Varicella, Influenza, Diphtheria, Tetanus and Tuberculosis screening may also be required by industry prior to clinic). - Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider (HCP) with Adult and Child CPR and Automated External Defibrillator training. CPR must include in-person on-site practical session. - Completed Dental Examination Report.

Student Aid

This program is eligible for full-time post-secondary assistance by Alberta Student Aid for the funding year 2025/08/01 to 2026/07/31*.
